Creating your first Classic Photo Book and not sure how to make changes? Whether you're customizing your cover photo, title on the spine, or rearranging your photos, here's everything you need to know about how to edit your Classic Photo Book.
How to Edit Your Classic Photo Book on iOS
- Open the Chatbooks app
- Tap the menu on the upper left-hand side
- Press "My books"
- Click the Draft you're working on. If you have more than 1 Draft, you can click on "See All" to view all Drafts
- Need to change the title? Tap the pencil symbol under the image of your cover, then edit the title of your Chatbook. Your title will save when you click out of the menu bar
- To edit the cover of your Classic Photo Book, tap on the pencil icon on the cover. Here you can change the title, book color, title layout, and cover photo. To save changes, click "Done"
- To exclude a photo, press and hold your finger to one image, then select all photos you want to exclude. Click the "x" and then tap "Exclude Selected" or "Cancel." When you're finished editing photos, click "Done Rearranging"
- To create a collage, click on a photo, then tap "Collage." Select the photo collage template you want and add photos. After you've selected the photos, click "Done"
- To sort the pages in your book, tap and hold, then press the "Sort" option at the top of the page. You can Sort by Oldest to Newest, Newest to Oldest, and Shuffle Pages if you don't want the photos in a specific order. Then, click "Done Rearranging"
- To edit an specific photo, tap the photo you want to edit. You can choose your page layout, change the date and location, and add a caption. A caption will only appear if your page layout is set to "Square" or "Border"
How to Edit Your Classic Photo Book on Android
- Open the Chatbooks app, then go to the first tab of the app
- Tap on the Chatbook you're going to edit
- To edit an specific photo, tap on the picture you want to edit
- Options include choosing your page layout, exclude the photo, or add a caption on this page
- Tap Done to save your changes
- To edit a photo, tap on the settings gear. You can Rotate Photo by clicking "Rotate"
- To remove a photo, tap on Settings and select "Delete"
- To move photos, press and drag pics to their new location
- If you'd like to sort photos in chronological order, tap on "Sort"
- To add a text page, tap on + and then "Text Page"
- To change locations, click into a specific page and click the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner. Tap on "Edit Location." Add Location. Click OK
- In order to change the date, click into a specific page and tap the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner. Tap on "Edit Date." Select new Date. Click OK
