How to Create a Show-Stopping Photo Birthday Garland
Party magic unlocked! Turn your Premium Prints into a DIY birthday garland that’s as special as your memories.
When it comes to birthdays, it's all about the big, smiling face of the birthday kiddo! To help celebrate the star of the show, you can make a DIY garland featuring the best face in the world (and odds are, you'll want to break it out every year, no matter how old they get).
Birthdays are a time of celebration, nostalgia and joy (and sugar!), so why not deck the halls with the birthday boy or girls' face?! Here's how to make an easy, DIY photo garland for any celebration.
And don't forget—your perfect photo moments will look great on the cover of your next subscription photo book, or Classic Photo Book.
Before starting your garland, print out ten or more photos (that are up close and almost entirely the birthday boy or girls' face) using Chatbooks Premium Prints.
Then, using whatever materials you'd like (paper, wrapping paper, etc.), cut out triangles that resemble birthday hats and glue to the top of the pictures, mimicking a birthday hat, on the prints. If you have them, add cotton balls or pom-poms to the top, too!
Using a hole puncher, cut two holes in the top of each hat. Then, weave the garland string in and out of each hat until they're all on the string. And there you have it, a complete birthday photo garland!
