Here's a confession from someone on the other side of pregnancy: I barely photographed my bump. It was the middle of winter, I didn't feel like I "looked pregnant" (I did), and booking a photographer felt like one more thing. So I skipped it, almost entirely.
I regret it. The bump is such a short chapter, a few months you will never see again unless you do the whole thing over. You don't need a photographer or a golden-hour meadow. You need one afternoon, a phone, and this list.
The photos I did get? Taken in my living room with a white sheet over my brightest window and a self-timer. If I could get shots I love with that setup, so can you.

Two perfect homes for them:
The bump is so temporary. Take the photos. You’ll really be so glad you did.
