Who doesn't love surprises, right? When you sign up for automatic or monthly photo books with Chatbooks, you get just that. Every month or each time you send a book to print, your memories—which are printed in high quality ink on archival paper—are sent right to your front door. If you thought seeing an Amazon box on your front porch was exciting, get ready for the joy you'll feel when you see a green Chatbooks package just waiting for you to tear into it.
But now comes the question: Which photo book is right for you? We have 3 different types of Chatbooks: Standard Photo Books, Automatic Subscription Books and Monthly Photo Books! Our Standard Chatbook is perfect for special occasions, but our Automatic Subscription Books and Monthly Photo Books are ideal for anyone taking lots of photos and looking for a beyond easy way to hold onto their memories. Here's a breakdown of how our Automatic Subscription Books compare to our Monthly Photo Books...
Automatic Subscription Books
What are they: Our Automatic Subscription Books are set up in 60-page volumes with sizes 6x6 or 8x8.
How they work: You will be prompted to add a source such as Facebook, Instagram or Favorites. The source you choose will automatically add those pictures to your Series. Once your next volume is full with 60 pictures, it'll print and ship. We do have a 3-day notification, which will give you some time to edit out any pictures you don't want to be included in your book. You can cancel, pause or restart your subscription at any time in the app or by contacting Customer Support via live chat or email.
Monthly Photo Books
What are they: We currently offer 3 types of monthly photo books: Hardcover Monthbooks, Softcover Monthbooks and Monthly Minis.
How they work: A Monthbook is a 30-page, 5x7 photo book, available in soft and hardcover. Right now, they are only available in the US. They are set up as a monthly subscription, which begins when you place your first order in the Chatbooks app. You’ll be charged the day you sign up and then on the 1st of each month thereafter. Photos can be added from your Camera Roll or Google Photos.
Each Monthbook has a cover image that you select along with a small title that shows the month and year. Covers come in a choice of sage ombre or 4 single color palettes (black, blue, sage, or peach). You’ll be able to choose the color scheme of your choice in the app.
Another option is our Monthy Minis. These kid-friendly books can hold 30 pages and are 5x5 with rounded corners. They are set up as a monthly subscription, which begins when you place your first order in the Chatbooks app. You’ll be charged the day you sign up and then on the 1st of each month thereafter. Photos can be added from your Camera Roll or Google Photos.
