In order to apply your new payment method to a specific subscription, you’ll need to update your payment within that Series or subscription. Updating the payment method in the profile section of the Chatbooks app won’t apply it to a specific subscription or Series. This means if you have more than one subscription, you’ll need to update the payment method for each one.

Whether you’re changing your method from your phone or computer, these steps will help you navigate the issue.

From iOS: 

• Open your Chatbooks app and tap on the “profile icon” on the bottom right side of your screen 
• Tap on the Monthbooks or Monthly Minis subscription that needs an updated payment method 
• From the drop-down menu at the top of your screen, tap on “settings” 
• Click on “payment” and enter your new payment details 
• Tap “done” to apply these changes to your Monthbooks or Monthly Minis subscription

From Android: 

• Open your Chatbooks app and tap on the subscription or Series you’d like to update the payment method for
• In the blue “subscription settings” section, click on “edit,” then tap “payment” 
• Enter your new payment method by tapping on the blue “+” sign in the bottom right corner

From Desktop: 

• Log into your Chatbooks account at Chatbooks.com
• Tap on “my home” to see your Chatbooks
• Go into the Series or subscription you’d like to update the payment method for
• Click on “series options” at the top of your screen
• From the drop-down menu, tap “payment and shipping” 
• Enter your new payment details and save
