Every Chatbook tells a unique story. The How I Chatbook Series is a collection of those stories highlighting how people around the world use Chatbooks to help them hold on to what matters.
In this article, we’ll show you how to make a book using a hashtag.
Heather is a mother of four, a professional photographer, and the social media manager here at Chatbooks. If you think you take a lot of pictures of your kids, you need to meet Heather! She is constantly pulling out her phone or camera to snap a photo of all of her kids’ funny, cute, and even horrible moments.
In order to keep all of her kids’ photos organized, Heather created a hashtag Photo Book Series for each of her children. Every time she posts a photo of her kids, she uses a personalized hashtag that will automatically upload the photo to that specific child’s book.
“I love Chatbooking this way because it’s a super easy way to organize my kids’ photos as they grow. They love having their own Chatbooks of themselves and I can’t wait to be able to pass the books on to them when they have their own families (after I order another set for myself, of course 😀).” says Heather.
And the kids love their Chatbooks too! Every night, before bed, they grab their Chatbooks and relive their happiest moments. It’s become a fun family tradition at bedtime!
Here’s how Heather makes her Hashtag Series Books:
1. Create a new Instagram Series.
2. Go into the settings of your newly created Instagram series and select the “Manage” button.
3. Click “Add Hashtag Filter” and enter the hashtag you use when you post the photos on Instagram.
4.Use the hashtag every time you want to add a photo to the book, and it will automatically be added to the series!
